The Compress 5800i AW is the first in a series of new heat pumps from Nefit Bosch that use propane (R290). This natural, PFAS-free refrigerant, which contains less than one kilogram in the heat pump's closed circuit, has a greenhouse gas potential (Global Warming Potential) of only 3. This is significantly lower than that of current refrigerants. Therefore, this natural resource is not subject to the F-Gas Regulation.
The Compress 5800i AW is even quieter than the Nefit Bosch heat pump, which was rated the quietest in the Consumers' Association's most recent heat pump test. At a distance of three meters, the sound pressure level of the 4 kW version in Night mode is only 26 dB(A). This is virtually inaudible. This makes the Compress 5800i AW easy to install close to property lines and in densely built-up neighborhoods and terraced houses.
The Compress 5800i AW can supply hot water up to 75°C, and the maximum supply temperature for heating is also 75°C. This makes the heat pump suitable not only for new construction but also for existing heating systems with conventional radiators.
The new series is optimized for ease of installation. Installers do not need F-gas certification. The outdoor unit can be positioned anywhere up to 30 meters away from the indoor unit. The indoor unit itself, which integrates all key components, is plug-and-play for installation. Commissioning is simple via a short start-up menu on the intuitive color touchscreen.
